I wondered if anyone other than myself happened to watch "The View" this morning? Bob Saget was on and managed to get a few minutes to speak about his sister, her death, and Scleroderma. This program is on again in the evening on some stations. It was wonderful publicity for our cause. Here is some info from ABC’s site. Bobbie R. ————————————————————- Monday, July 8th Bob Saget was here today to discuss a disease called Scleroderma. Scleroderma is a disease that causes an overproduction of collagen in the connective tissue. Collagen is normally responsible for keeping the skin and organs supple, but when overproduced it makes tissues hard and immobile. This excessive build-up of collagen is called fibrosis. This disease has claimed the life of Bob’s sister, and just six weeks ago his best friend, Sharon Monsky who is also the founder of the Scleroderma Research Foundation. If you would like additional information about this disease you may log onto sclerodermaresearch.org, scleroderma.org or call (800) 441-CURE.
