Hello, I’m so sorry that you are having such great pain. I too have diffuse disease. I too have severe Joint and muscle involvement. I agree about how horrible the pain is and about the medication offering little comfort. One thing that helps me when I’m in the most pain is to take a hot bath or sit in a jacuzzi. It really does help. I’ve been on several different medications for it and have got very little response from any of them. Hopefully others in the group can suggest a medication that worked for them. I was recently diagnosed with scleroderma. Unfortunately, it appears to me that I my symptoms are progressing rapidly. I have a constant burning in my stomach. My most serious concern is the absolute constant debilitating muscle and joint pain. Has this occurred to anyone else? I am on naproxyn but it does nothing to alleviate the muscle pain. Please respond with suggestions. Thank you so much!
