Usually have to visit Norther Europe in August. Never have a need to go there during the winter. Same applies to DC and further north. Strang how that happens almost every year. Ireland is the place to be during July and August. North or South, makes no difference. It only rains 3 days a week during those months! Seriously, great places to visit. – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -> > Tab One wrote in message <36E574A9.DC923…@pineland.net>… > > >We had 72 degrees Monday. We had 72 degrees Monday. Needed the air conditioning in the car going home at 18:00, and people ask why we live in South Georgia. Keep the cold Canadian air, we have no need of it. tab1

Sounds lovely, thanks bringing up pleasant pictures of summer:-) We Canadians will send a nice dry cold front to you in August to relieve the humidity, does that sound fair? It was 10o when I went out to work at 6AM, between the temp and the wind, it felt like the coldest day of the winter, so far. In fact, my car doors were frozen shut and I had to climb over the seats from the back. (especially hard to do with a "4 on the floor"!) Jo NJ
