Scleroderma has not been found to be a genetic disorder or inherited. So far there is not a known cause or a cure but much research is going on. Dee Dee Hunt

I’m convinced of a genetic connection of some sort also because my aunt has it and so do I. I have heard from several people with SD who have relatives with it. I don’t think there is anything definitive yet to show either a single cause or the genetic connection, but there is research in both areas. Hopefully we’ll have an answer soon.
