Question:

I find I can’t tolerate tomato sauce, raw vegetables, particularly lettuce and cucumbers.  My stomach acts up for hours.  Oh, how I would love to have a nice big green salad, but I don’t dare.No vinegar products of any kind, no citrus juice, and I only drink decaf coffee.I have turned against cheese lately, its too salty, I can’t stand anything salty.I never thought much about the bana, but I did notice the other day, I had a banana and had acid reflux all day.The only thing that agrees with me and causes no problem.  I wish someone would come up with an ice cream diet. Irene

Response:

You are right Colleen!  Sometimes you have to enjoy the things that taste good and tolerate the results.   Susan  (a chocolate lover at heart);-)) – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Richard Schiehl wrote: > Radishes,onions.cabbage…..all the good for us, heart healthy foods are the > ones that can make my stomach make me miserable. Irene:  I love ice cream and could eat it all day long…found Edys brand to be sugar free and fat free….and it agrees with me. Used to make my own with sugar free nonfat yogart and pureed fresh fruit…just can’t find my handy ice cream maker…it’s in storage!!  I make a yogart shake in morning and put a soy woman’s protein powder I found at Osco and a little frozen fruit..a packet of nutrisweet and it starts my morning off great!  Love that nurturing "mother" food!! If you don’t have to worry about sugar have at it!  Good luck!  Hope this helps…Sandi
