Question:
For what it is worth, your medical record is the property of the hospital or dr’s office. As a patient you have a right to read the entire record. There is susually no charge to read the record. The charge comes in when the record is copied-usually a per sheet Xerox and labor of doing it. It is usually wise to read the record first and decide what you want copied. Records of chronic patients can run on forever and some of it you don’t care to have a copy of, although you may if you want. To read the record in a hospital or a large clinic, you may have to file a written request and set up an appointment with the medical record office. They will set you up with a desk-bring paper and pencil if you want to take hand notes. Nancy

Hey Jaimes- Even if it is Miriam, that response is totally uncalled for, since her post wasn’t a troll. And please remember that this isn’t alt.BINARIES.support.scleroderma – posting binaries here is against the charter…. —– Cabal Agent #1 Eric Keman- The world’s first Artificial Stupidity program?
