Scleroderma Information » Scleroderma » Morphea Treatments?

Question:

I have been stable with my morphea symptoms for over a year, even after discontinuing the DPenn. Of course, morphea is one of those diseases that can go into remission on it’s own, so who really knows? Jo NJ

What I see on the web ia all over the place – UVA, corticosteroid ointment… and those that say there’s nothing that has shown to work.  Has your girlfriend seen a scleroderma specialist? <nobodyuk…@nowhere.org> wrote in message

Does anyone have any information on the treatment of morphea? My girlfriend was diagnosed with it several years ago and has a patch of discolored skin on her left shoulder. It is rough, dry, hard, and looks inflamed at times. The area is starting to slowly spread after years of remaining dormant. Has anyone had succestoping the spread of this or reversing it’s effect? Please reply to this newsgroup and to my e-mail below. Any help at all is greatly appreciated. Thank you, Scott sc…@love-and-miracles.NOSPAMfaithweb.com remove the NOSPAM before sending e-mail.
