Harv I am sorry to hear about your friend. My husband was also in VN and he has explained to me the bond you guys develop. I am sure this man was more like your brother. I will keep you and him in my prayers. May God be with you during this difficult time. Cheri

My friend that worked at Schlitz and Budweiser breweries with me has had a heart attack and is in a coma. I have to travel into the deep country of east texas to be at his side with his family. He was a man that lived through VietNam. He came home with bullets scars and scars in his mind from what he went through. He came home with agent orange in his system that stored in his fat in large lumps. He is dieing right now not understanding why the service he gave to his country was spit upon. He does not understand why his children were born with defects from agent orange. He was a man that was good in a bar fight but as kind and gentle a soul as I have ever know. They say that if your life you have one true friend that you can die happy in knowing that. I am his friend and he may not know me when I get there but his friend will be holding his hand and praying that God will make a place for him and for me so that I can see him again. Harvey, My thoughts and prayers go out to you and your friend. My mother was in a coma for about a week before she died and it was a terrible time for me but if I could I’d gladly relive those days. Talk to your friend Harvey. He can hear you. My mother could hear me. It sounds like he has suffered a long time. He is going to a better place, where there isn’t any pain for him. Take care.
