Sherry: Is there a Wound Clinic in your area. Most major centers have them now – they deal with a lot of diabetics with ulcers. If you could get a referral to one, while your ulcer is fairly new, you may have a much better chance of having it heal quickly and without major problems. Terri

That is a great idea. My hospital I go to has one. Maybe I’ll ask my doc what he thinks about that idea. Thanks. Hi Everyone. I have a horrible ulcer on my elbow. I have had a calcinosis nodule on my elbow for sometime that is a real nuisance but about a week ago it opened up and bled. Which this has happened before and healed back but this time it has blown up into a real ulcer. The doctor prescribed some cream which hasn’t really helped. Gregg went out and bought me those elbow bandaids and some antibiotic cream hoping that would help. If anyone has any suggestions please share them. We have tried about everything prescriptive and over the counter. I was told to soak my elbow. Well considering I can’t bend it too much because it hurts soaking it is a real chore. LOL? I know I can soak it in the bath water but I am talking about more often then that. Anyone got any ideas?
