Scleroderma Online Raffle To Raise Funds to donate to The Scleroderma Foundation Hi Everyone. This raffle is sponsored by The Scleroderma and Autoimmune Digest Support Mailing List and Lori Heiser . We thought we could do a little raffle and hopefully donate some money to research. We hope we can make this a successful online raffle for raising funds for the Scleroderma Foundation. This is our chance to show everyone just how many of us are out here fighting for a cure for this dibilitating disease. Lori has graciously offered to donate a hand crafted Lace Doily in which she will make herself that is white and measures 33′ X 18" finished size. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $1.00 each by sending checks to: Please read below for more details about how this raffle will be managed. Lori Heiser 1393 Fairmont Drive Idaho Falls, ID 83404 She will set up a spread sheet to keep track of the donations. The checks will be deposited in a savings account and then a cashiers check will be sent to the scleroderma foundation. The cutoff date is November 30th. All checks for tickets must be received by that date. On the evening of that date Lori will print out the spread sheet with all the people’s names that had purchased tickets and publish this list in the digest and on the newsgroups and message boards the names of those that bought tickets to verify that you are in the drawing (how many tickets you purchased will not be included in the announcement) and then she will cut up the names into individual pieces and place them into a bowl and draw 3 names. The first name being drawn would be the Grand Prize winner which would receive the Large Doily pictured at the bottom of the raffle link page http://www.SclerodermaSupport.com/raffle.html and then two other names would be drawn which would receive a smaller lace hand-crafted doily as a conselation prize. Be sure to include your return address in your envelope when you send your checks so we can send you your prize if you win. We will announce on November 30th the winners of the raffle. We also will announce the total proceeds accumulated. The Scleroderma Foundation can verify that the check was received if you contact them at 1-800-722-HOPE of course allowing mailing time after the closing date of November 30th. Again if you wish to participate in this raffle you may do so by sending checks payable to Lori Heiser with a note in the memo line "Scleroderma Raffle" to the following address.
