This does sound good.  That not having to explain CREST has got to be 50% of the battle! – Hide quoted text — Show quoted text -Jan Gilbertson wrote in message <70lbsc$ha…@oak.prod.itd.earthlink.net>… >Just wanted to do a quick update on my dr. appt today.  He was more to my >liking at least he talked to me and I didn’t have to explain what CREST was >to him.  He DX’d me with Fibro also, and he is taking an active treatment on >symptoms.  He couldn’t believe that they had been so conservative on my >treatments.  There is a possibility I found a decent Rheumy.  They imported >him from Salt Lake City (funny that was where my Raynaud’s was Dx’d). >Jan >http://www.geocities.com/HotSprings/Villa/3892/index.html

Glad to hear this!  Having a good rapport with your doctor, especially when you have a chronic condition that requires frequent visits, is important.  The first rheumatologist I saw about 9 years ago was highly recommended by my internist, but I didn’t like him.  I never went back.   Hope your good feelings about the new doc continue. Just wanted to do a quick update on my dr. appt today.  He was more to my liking at least he talked to me and I didn’t have to explain what CREST was to him.  He DX’d me with Fibro also, and he is taking an active treatment on symptoms.  He couldn’t believe that they had been so conservative on my treatments.  There is a possibility I found a decent Rheumy.  They imported him from Salt Lake City (funny that was where my Raynaud’s was Dx’d).
